"Hearts Across the Table"
Dinner and Silent Auction - The major fund raiser for the Rhinebeck-Rheinbach Exchange Program is the "Hearts Across the Table" (HATT) Dinner and Silent Auction. The gourmet dinner is prepared by culinary trained chef, Michael Kristan. The HATT dinner is on the first Saturday of February, at the Father Brogan Center in Rhinebeck. Many local businesses and people contribute to this event.
"Silent Auction"
Every year a large number of items and gift certificates are offered at the silent auction held during the dinner. Crafts, jewelry, paintings, gift certificates, gift baskets, and services are just a few of the many items offered. These items are donated by local merchants, crafts people, artists and individuals interested in carrying on the traditions of the music-based Rhinebeck-Rheinbach Cultural Exchange.
